Outline Towards the end of the semester, each student will make a 5 minute presentation summarizing a journal, conference paper, or government laboratory report on smart grid. A suitable source for journal papers is IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid. This lecture outlines expectations for this presentation. Copyright © 2019

Five minutes is a short amount of time! You will need to summarize an entire paper into ten or fewer slides. The following slides will outline expectations for content: You can cover more than is mentioned in the following slides if this facilitates your explanation, but Make sure you include slides that relate to each of these topics since these will form the basis of the grading rubric. 1. What is the topic & what is its significance? What problem is being solved, or what new service is being described? Is this, in your opinion, an important problem or service? Is this the only possible solution to solving this problem or providing this service? Copyright © 2019
