(1) What is the importance of subject knowledge? To foster and maintain pupils’ interest To address misunderstandings To interpret statutory curricula, frameworks, syllabi To engender enthusiasm & curiosity (QTS standards) To inspire joyful learners (SEA – TCP) www.bishopg.ac.uk
