Frequently Asked Questions How many students will be on the team? Remember there are only 40 spots TOTAL on the team: 20 broadcasters, 20 producers. Usually more students apply than spots are available. On average, around 80 students apply for 40 spots on the team. The team is divided into 4 per day (4 students x 5 days = 20 students). Half the team does broadcast Sept.- Jan., the other half does it Feb.- June.

Frequently Asked Questions How are students chosen for the team? Broadcasters should practice with the sample script posted on the media center website. They will have a videotaped audition one day at school. The audition, application, and teacher recommendations are all considered when choosing broadcasters. Producers are selected based on their application and teacher recommendations. Prior experience with technology and a willingness to learn are both helpful.

JOIN THE TEAM! Applications and parent permission are due to Mrs. Kovach no later than WEDNESDAY, September 12. Late applications will not be accepted! Auditions will be held in the media center at a time during the school day. Your teacher will give you the schedule!

JOIN THE TEAM! The team will be announced around September 22 (you will get an email). Broadcast begins Monday, September 24. Students: contact Mrs. Kovach with questions (email or stop in before school).
