ROMAN POET PROJECT FINAL PRODUCT: A paper or powerpoint presentation REQUIREMENTS: Research the life, death, and works of your Roman poet. Present your findings in 1 of the 2 ways listed above. CONTENT: Poet’s birth and death dates; list of names and summaries of major works complete or incomplete; an overview of what was happening in Rome at the time the poet was writing (major battles, historical events, period of government, prominent military/government figures, other authors/poets writing at the same time); purpose of the poet’s writings; at least 2 interesting facts you found about your poet. DUE DATES: Mon., FEB.13th/B Day – Tues., FEB. 14th; FINAL PRODUCT – Feb. 22nd/23rd TOTAL POINTS: Rough Draft = 5 pts.; Final Product = 25 pts. (30 pts. Total)
