Process Transfer window opens April 15th and closes June 15th Exceptions: Staff Members Families moving into our district The link for the transfers will be taken off the website at the end of business on June 15th Paper forms will not be accepted, please direct to the website Transportation will not be provided for any transfer student, Including Grandfathered Please do not send to admin. They can use computers in the library/go center.

Inter-District Transfers Transfers from outside the district – require annual renewal Attendance and discipline records are required for all Inter-District Transfers Families moving into the district are required to fill out an “early enrollment based on intended residence” as well as provide a copy of the lease/builder’s contract. ** We only need the first page and the signature page that all parties have signed Revoking a transfer – Warning Letter of “Possible Denial” of upcoming school Year transfer (FDA – Exhibit F) Revoking a transfer – Student is allowed to remain until the end of the current school year (FDA – Exhibit G) Transportation will not be provided for any transfer student, Including Grandfathered Someone in the room fill out a. form. For remainder of the year – under reasons for approval - change of residence.

District Rezoning Current Peterson and Tidwell Students - West of Harmon Road (this includes Harmon Ranch) - Haslet, Wilson, Eaton Current Byron Nelson and Medlin Students - North of Denton Creek and west of Interstate 35W (Includes North ridge, harvest, and Canyon Falls) - Gene pike and northwest Exceptions: Going into fifth grade at Peterson – Remain at Peterson for Final Year – Does not apply for Siblings Going into Eighth Grade – Remain at Tidwell for their Final Year - Does not apply for Siblings All current sixth – Eleventh graders (Medlin and Byron) – Grandfathered (Option to remain on current path through graduation at Byron Nelson as a transfer student) Transportation will not be provided for any transfer student, Including Grandfathered
