Regional Situation: existing regulatory/policy considerations related to minor uses? Argentina Bolivia Brasil ……. The idea would be a first presentation of the current situation of each country. Based on the answers to the questionnaire.

What measures have been taken in the last five years to address the problems of minor crops in your country/region? Brief summary by country

Are there any legislation or policy initiatives that affect minor crops? Overview of the current regulatory landscape in your country or region for smaller crops. Were there regulatory initiatives? Were they local or regional?

What are the main remaining issues and the primary needs to address these issues? • Unauthorized use on the label out of common, does the legislation provide for this use? • Specific technical capabilities • Access to data (data type, eg residue data or crop efficacy and safety values)? Extrapolation? Smaller number of trials its posible? • Stakeholders (who they are and how they are involved) • Political support • Data Compatibility • Mutual recognition of studies

Clusters of cultures or extrapolated data are used for registration and MRLs. • Clustering of cultures • Codex Classification of Crops and Extrapolation • Data extrapolation of a case (efficacy / residues)
