Tone Poster Task Requirements You will become an “expert” on a tone word and share your knowledge with the class. Requirements While you need to begin with a dictionary definition (denotation), do not end there. Find out how the word is typically used (connotation). Create a poster that includes the following: the word its dictionary definition (denotation) its meaning - is it positive / negative / neutral? (connotation) an example of how it is used (Do not use the tone word in the sentence; create a sentence that reflects the tone) a visual to help your classmates remember the word and its use. Make sure that the visual fills the poster and can be seen from far away.
