Keep in mind: Induction Ceremony will be on Wed. March 28th at 6pm This is a mandatory event for all to attend. Current members will need to be at the HS by 5:15 pm. Plan on staying after the ceremony as well to help clean-up . There will be a ‘sign up’ sheet at our next general meeting(3/5) for specific tasks.

Keep in mind You should be keeping track of your NHS points. Member Obligations/Points Sheet Beginning in March: you will sign up outside of room 151 to set up a time to go over your Points sheet and NHS standing with Mrs. Wellington. Those in ‘good standing’ will be recognized as such at graduation and will the wear the NHS tassel, those who are not in good standing will not be recognized, nor receive the NHS tassel. Any questions, talk with Mrs W.

Service Opportunities (NHS Sponsored) Variety Club Telethon→ March 4th at Seneca Niagara Casino Mrs. Dayka at the administration bldg is the contact person. If you want more info let Mrs. Wellington know ASAP so that she can get in touch with Mrs. Dayka for further details. The Variety Club Telethon supports numerous sick, disabled or disadvantaged children throughout WNY. Town of Hamburg Clean Up (beach clean-up) → tentatively May 5th. We will confirm as the date gets closer.

NHS Banquet Banquet interest? Either same night as induction afterwards→ 7:30 (JPs?) Or Early June 2018 (JPs?) Cost would be determined by amount of people interested in attending. Cost two years ago was <$20 for JPs
