September 18 - 22 What I’m Learning: Teacher News: Homework: Mrs. clayton’s Scoop September 18 - 22 What I’m Learning: This week our mentor text is The Three Little Pigs in reading. We are learning about questioning to gain information and text-to-self connections. We are practicing apostrophes in contractions. In writing, we are making connections and writing personal narratives. Vocabulary: Gobble: eat food quickly without chewing it very much or make the sound a turkey makes. Rude: not polite, not respectful of others. Dash: run very quickly Approach: move closer to someone or something. Spelling Terrible: very bad, horrible or awful they fame Terrific: very good, wonderful or great his pave Grumble: complain about something in a grouchy voice be flop Scrunch: squeeze or crush this cute from grin Teacher News: Make sure and return the fundraiser packet or you will need to pay the $25 for it. This week is spirit week!! . Homework: Reading: (Due on Friday) Assignment 1: Reading Fluency (Practice every night) Assignment 2: Reading Questions Assignment 3: Complete grammar sheet.
