Agenda item ESSC 2015/25/7 European Master in Official Statistics: Recommendation from the EMOS Board to nominate university master programmes with the EMOS label. Opinion 1. The ESSC unanimously approved the EMOS Board’s recommendation to award the EMOS label to the twelve selected Master programmes. 2. Eurostat invited Member States to further promote EMOS and to support potential applicants for the second round. The role of the NSIs in EMOS will be further clarified in the preparation of the second round. 3. Eurostat acknowledged that the points raised in the discussion on the content of the EMOS curriculum would be considered when preparing the invitations for the second EMOS round and be part of the evaluation of EMOS in 2017.
