Subject What We’re Learning Ms. Schimke’s Class Newsletter November 12-16 Subject What We’re Learning Reading We will spend our second week with Bat Loves the Night. Our story skills will be: sequencing, domain-specific vocabulary, suffixes, and synonyms. Our summative assessment will be Wednesday. Language Arts We will spend this week working on our writing skills to complete some fun Thanksgiving activities. Math We will review the chapter on Monday and then take our Chapter 4 Summative on Tuesday. We will then begin our last multiplication chapter. PRACTICE MULTIPLICATION FACTS EVERY NIGHT!! Science & Social Studies Science – we will continue learning about different life cycles. Social Studies – we will continue learning about life in the Colonies. Teacher Notes *Remember to initial the planner nightly. *All test, quiz, and assignment dates are subject to change. *Library books due on Friday. *Wear our Team Shirts on all Treat Days, Hot Lunch Days, Field Trips, and PBIS assemblies. Collect those Box Tops and Pop Tops!
