Way forward - SARIN -SARIN Website Development -Identify within-country experts with ONGOING FUNDED projects and build the SARIN network specific to satellite based: -Forest fragmentation and forest regional ecosystem integrity -Forest Fires and impacts on ecosystem services Facilitate workshops/meetings/trainings with GOFC researchers (Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal); Contribute to journal special issues Action item pursuing: APN Collaborative Regional Research Programme (CRRP) and the capacity development programme (CAPaBLE), November 2017. -Explore Other within regional proposal opportunities; Funding will be the key for sustained activities – GOFC help is needed to identify the opportunities and to engage SARIN researchers
