Education and Training Statistics Working Group – 16-17 June 2015 Changes in 2016 Revision of the calculation of the lifelong learning (LLL) indicator: Why? To harmonise the calculation of LLL indicator with the one of other indicators How? Inclusion of students on holidays as being in education Impact? Substantial change for younger population (15-24) but minor for the ET2020 indicator (age 25-64) Before releasing the new data, countries were consulted to confirm the data and methodology and indicate how the students on holidays were treated before the introduction of the specific category for students on holidays in 2006.
