This week in Mrs. Lamb’s Class We are learning 8/14-8/18 *Routines, procedures and following directions *Language Arts-what is the alphabet *Math-recognize straight and curved lines *Comprehension-respond to text, discuss illustrations *Science-use the senses to investigate *Social Studies-playground safety, school staff responsibilities, student responsibilities *Health-explore how germs spread, learn when to wash and how to wash hands correctly Important Events Monday-student’s will learn fire drill, earthquake, and lockdown procedures. Many of you have expressed concern about the gates for drop off and pick up. Please rest assured I will care for your children as if they were my own. At the end of the day we will meet you to the left of the gate. The kids will hold onto the fence until I see who is here to get them and then they will be released.
