“Picture of My Health” Collage Project

There are 3 kinds of health:  For this assignment you will be creating a collage that represents you and your personal health (both now and in the future): There are 3 kinds of health: Physical: the condition of a person’s body- it includes healthy meals, getting exercise, and good sleep. Social: the condition of a person’s relationships with family and others- How you get along with others. Mental-Emotional: the feelings about yourself and how well you relate to others, and how well you meet the demands of daily life.

What defines you?- Your likes, dislikes, hobbies, etc. Your collage should not only represent who you are but also what your health is like currently and where you want it to be in the future. Things to include: What defines you?- Your likes, dislikes, hobbies, etc. What defines your physical health? What defines your social health? What defines your mental- emotional health?

All of the items used should have meaning for you. Assignment Instructions- Using the paper provided: 1. Create a collage of pictures, words, photos, art, wrappers, magazine clippings, tickets, etc. All of the items used should have meaning for you. The entire paper must be covered with none of the paper showing. Try to be really fun and creative with it! (Do not use anything really valuable, sentimental, or that would be horrible if lost, since occasionally things do fall off collages.)   2. Tape or glue the “Getting to Know You” worksheet securely, to the back of your collage (so that they are back to back and I can see the collage and flip over to read the written part).
