Make in Odisha-2018 Conclave, 11th-15th November’18, Bhubaneswar

Largest Industrial Expo of Odisha (Make in Odisha – 2018) organized jointly by the Government of Odisha and FICCI at Bhubaneswar from November 11–15, 2018. It was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr. Naveen Patnaik in presence of his entire cabinet and industry delegates on 11th November ‘18. Around 800 Industrial Delegates from all over the country attended the ceremony. The inauguration was followed by scintillating cultural programme. The Plenary Session was on 12th November ’18. The highlight of the meeting was presence of Industrial heavyweights like Mr. Mukesh Ambani , Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, Mr. Anil Agarwal, Mr. Sajjan Jindal, Mr. Naveen Jindal, Mr. Karan Adani, Mr. Sandeep Somany, Mr. Sanjiv Puri etc. We at PPL also participated in the expo and put up our Stall. The Stall was Inaugurated by Mr. Ranjit Singh Chugh, COO in presence of Mr. Pranab Bhattacharyya, CGM (Opns), Mr. Sailesh Pati, CFO , Mr. Jagannath Khuntia, GM (HR) and Mr. Sudhi Ranjan Mishra , Chief Manager (Corporate Affairs) Mr. Sudhi Ranjan Mishra and Mr. Soumyashree Omprakash Sahoo, Manager (CSR) managed the daily proceedings. The stall attracted thousands of visitors.  

Mr. Ranjit Singh Chugh, COO attended as the Speaker in a Session on ‘Chemicals, Petrochemicals and Plastic Ecosystem in Odisha’ and spoke on the ‘Success Story of PPL’. Mr. Chugh put light on the history of PPL, highlighted the future expansion plan and stressed about PPL’s role as a major player in industrialization process of Odisha. Mr. Anant Das, Hon’ble Industry & Higher Education Minister of Govt Of Odisha presided over the Meeting. The session proceedings was conduced by Mr. Deepak Mehta, Chairman, National Chemical Committee, FICCI and CMD Deepak Nitrite Limited. Other Speakers present were Mr. Nitin Jawale, IAS , CMD IPICOL, Mr. Avinash Verma, Chairman, National Petro-chemicals Committee , FICCI and Executive Director , Petro Chemicals , IOCL.
