Thank God… for what you don’t have

Romans 8.1-2 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Thank God you don’t have… 1. Guilt and condemnation of sin No longer does sin have any power over you John 8.36; Psalms 103.12 Jesus saved you from sin, so you would not sin

2. Love for this evil world anymore The desires of the world are gone Galatians 5.24; 1 Peter 2.11; Romans 5.20

3. Fear of death/dying Jesus took the sting out of death John 14.19

4. Fear of hell anymore Christ removed our fear of being eternally separated from Him 1 John 4.18

5. Bitterness and unforgiveness Forgiveness is based upon how we forgive others Ephesians 4.32
