The “Getting to Know Ms. Shuler” Presentation More than you ever wanted to know about your amazing teacher!
When and where were you born? Long ago and not so far away . . . I was born on August 2nd in the Payson Hospital.
What is your Family like? Like me! Large and fun-loving!
Do you have any Pets? If so, How Many and What kind? I have a crazy puppy named Maggie (sometimes referred to as “the Cuteness”.
What Did you do after High School? BYU A mission to Japan More BYU taught for 2 years at Pleasant Grove High School taught 7 years at Payson High School I have been at Salem Hills since it opened and I never want to leave. I’d love to still be teaching here when I’m 92!
Three words Or Phrases that describe you: Easily Entertained Large and in Charge (obviously) Easily Distracted (now days I think they call it ADD)
What are some of your favorite things to do? I like to travel!
I like to do stuff outdoors – camp, hike, cook marshmallows, eat s’mores, etc.!
Of course I like to create art that is out of this world!!!
Who is one person you really admire? Bob Ross of course, but who wouldn’t!
What is your favorite time of the year and why? Ground Hog Day! I don’t know - it’s just a whole day dedicated to a rodent – who wouldn’t love that?!
Who is one person you would love to meet (living or dead)? I’d love to meet the Queen of England. Last time I was at Buckingham Palace I looked for her – but I never did see her.
What is one of your dreams or aspirations for the future? I’d like to go to Scotland! I’d like to see the beautiful, green hills, the castles, the crystal lakes (and men in skirts) !
What did you do this summer? Went camping with my extended family.
Enjoyed some “down time” at the family cabin!
Worked in my garden.
…and my yard.
And I built a Fairy garden!
. Went Hot air balooning over burma. . Just kidding, I totally made that up because I didn’t do anything very exciting – I went to Santaquin once but other than that it was kind of boring.
Describe what a perfect day for you would be like. Laying around on a hammock in the woods with a good book and some Ben and Jerry’s !
