2 Timothy 4:2, 5 Preach the word; be instant in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffer-ing and doctrine. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Preach The Word 2 Timothy 4:2, 5 The subject is limited The word AKA: The gospel (Col. 1:5) The truth (Col. 1:5) The faith (Acts 6:7) The doctrine (1 Tim. 4:16) The whole counsel of God (Acts 20:27)

Preach The Word The word of God will be delivered “in earthen vessels” (2 Cor. 4:7) Not angels, not the Holy Spirit, not the resurrected Lord; frail human beings God chose the avenue of preaching to save (1 Cor. 1:21) It is the gospel that has the power to save souls (Rom. 1:16; James 1:21)
