Key Benefits of EN Grants Draw upon tools and resources to better suit Primacy Agency needs (APIs, LRDR, source code, etc.) Produce reusable components: goal of EN Grant program, can help other Primacy Agencies get more out of SDWIS Prime U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

FY18 Activities from Solicitation Notice Adopting and deploying CMDP and SDWIS Prime–transition plan, data migration, and training Developing shareable/reusable tools supporting bulk data transfer from SDWIS Prime to primacy agencies for use of data in state business systems and tools. Modifying primacy agency business systems to interact with SDWIS Prime with web service calls. Repurposing the legacy SDWIS State database as a local data store serving as an intermediary between SDWIS Prime and the primacy agency’s interfacing applications U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

Proposed FY19 EN Grant Activities Adopt and deploy SDWIS Prime/CMDP Establish LRDR/VES (more to come) Immediate use of interfacing applications Modify Interfacing Apps to employ APIs Continue existing work practices Build upon SDWIS Prime UI source code Additional functionality, customization U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

Shared Services/Reusable Components Available CMDP REST API (available now) and SDWIS Prime APIs for data access and uploading data available spring 2019. EPA provided data mapping from SDWIS State 3.33 to SDWIS Prime/CMDP available fall 2018. LRDR/VES: replicate primacy agency data in SDWIS Prime to a state hosted set of data tables in the SDWIS State v3.33 structure, available fall 2018. Open source code for SDWIS Prime’s User Interface available spring 2019. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
