Evaluation and Assessment Signs and Symptoms

Sign vs. Symptom A SIGN is something the athlete presents to the Athletic Trainer that is measurable Sweating profusely, immediate swelling, discoloration A SYMPTOM cannot be seen by the athletic trainer, but what is told to the athletic trainer based on what the athlete is experiencing
