Important things to Remember Analyze the prompt (Understand what the prompt is asking you to do) Background Knowledge: Give a brief explanation of the important points in the text. Answer the questions that should be answered or addressed in the response. Proof: Be sure to use evidence from the text to support your answers or opinions.
