CLASSROOM PROCEDURES AND EXPECTATIONS Students are expected to follow three basic rules: Be prepared. (pencil case and notebook) Follow directions. Respect yourself and the rights of others. GRADING A student’s grade will be determined by participation, homework, classwork, tests, quizzes, and projects.   MAKE-UP WORK PROCEDURES Upon returning to school following an absence, it is the student’s responsibility to contact the teacher to request all make-up work. If you are absent, you will have the number of days absent to make up the work, for example: 2 days absent, two days to make up. It is the student’s responsibility to get missing work.    HOMEWORK EXPECTATIONS To assist students in managing assignments, they are written on the white board. Students are given the opportunity to copy assignments in their assignment planner.
