Contact us: Ms. Washam/ Mrs. Doss: washama@gcsnc.com Mrs. Tuggle: tuggleh@gcsnc.com On December 15th, Ms. Washam officially becomes Mrs. Doss! PAGE’s 2018-19 goals are to: strengthen communications; continue to host enrichment events for all grades; support gifted teachers and programs; and to support Guilford County School’s updated AIG 2019-2022 Plan development. By supporting Guilford County PAGE, you will be the first to know about relevant webinars, speakers, events, communications and other programs.

3rd Grade 4th Grade ELA: 5th Grade Math: 4th Grade Math: Stock Market We will begin our study on the activist Malala Yousafzai and her influence on girls and education. We will study Caser's English lesson 5 and 6 and pretest our Hero unit and begin concept development on the idea of a Hero. 5th Grade Math: Stock Market After recent discussions about local businesses we are diving deep into stock listed on the NYSE. This month we are buying, selling and creating our own portfolio. 4th Grade Math: Picture This This unit invites students to think visually about mathematics. This month we are focusing on prime, factors, multiples and visually setting up word problems. 5th Grade ELA: Caser’s English lessons 13-14. We will post test our human rights unit and begin a Poetry unit focusing on figurative language and poetry text features. 3rd Grade Classes begin January 28th! Supply List: Math- 1’ binder with notebook paper and colored pencils ELA- 3 prong folder with notebook paper
