Review Questions Mark 4-8

What are the three general divisions of Mark 4, 5? What are the three divisions we made of Mark 4:33-5:43? What is a parable?

What is significant about the four types of soil? Wayside Stony Thorny Good

What is noteworthy about the term “outside” (4:11)? Is there a relationship between the “kingdom” and being “forgiven?” What is the fundamental purpose in listening to the word of God? What does the parable of the sower serve as in the understanding of all parables? What do you think is the fundamental problem of being “stony ground” (4:17)?
