Last Month’s Star Students Congrats to our Star Students!  Ms. Mixon’s Classroom Newsletter November 2018 Dates to Remember Classroom News November 7 & 8- Parent Teacher Conferences November 19- Field Trip November 16- Book Orders Due November 21-23 – No School November 26 – No School Wow, it is already November! November is a very busy month for us in Room 102! Parent Teacher Conferences are approaching, and I am looking forward to meeting with all of you. Please remember that we only have fifteen minutes to talk to one another, so it is very important that you try your best to arrive promptly on your scheduled day and time. If you are unsure of the day or time of your conference, it is written on the bottom of your child’s report card. We are taking a field trip on November 19th to the Museum of Science and Industry! I will send home a note with more information soon. Lastly, before we know it, Thanksgiving break will be here. I will be sending home a packet of work to keep your second grader busy over break. It will be optional, but any second grader who returns it on November 27th will receive two tickets for their hard work. Have a great November, and I look forward to seeing you at Parent Teacher Conferences!
