Some questions to practice: Why are you applying here? How would your best friend describe you? What are you most passionate about in life? Why? How did you get excited about this? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses? Tell me a time you made a mistake. How would you handle a specific difficult situation that might come up at that job? What questions do you have for me?

Practice interviewing with a partner Spend a few minutes looking over the questions and prepare your responses. Your partner will read a question to you and you should answer aloud, as professionally as possible. Your partner can give you feedback on your response, your body language, your tone, or anything else they think would help you do well if it were a real interview. Switch roles and ask your partner a question and give them feedback too.

As a class: *How did you handle questions about your weaknesses and mistakes? *How did you talk about your successes without bragging? *Other thoughts or ideas?
