The information is used to plan safer living spaces and to prevent international crimes such as drug trafficking and piracy Go to the following BBC website http://www.bbc.co.uk/education/guides/zytycdm/activity On map of Noseyford (Map 1) Click each of the factors on the right. Use this information describe the characteristics of the boroughs of Picknam and Sniffwich. Write your description on the map Continue with the activity. Which area has more crime? Continue the the activity. What features would be found in a high crime area and which in a low crime area? Copy the urban features onto the second map (Map 2). Explain how they affect crime?
