Project 1: Investigating the Value versus Cost of Privacy in the Internet of Things REU Student: Patrick Dorton Graduate mentors: Salih Safa Bacanli and Neda Hajiakhoond Bidoki Faculty Mentor(s): Dr. Turgut and Dr. Wisniewski Week 8 (July 10 – July 14, 2017) Accomplishments: Configured Latex file according to the template layout and wrote the introduction and am now working on putting the mathematical formulas into the paper Issues/problems encountered and solutions (if any): Had some issues getting the tables of variables and math formulas to be placed and looking correct in LaTeX Plans for next week: Complete the rough draft of the paper and begin editing it for final paper. Layout the poster and figure out the placement of all the formulas to be aesthetically pleasing. NSF REU Research Experience on Internet of Things 2017
