Background Karts are low. Karts are expensive. 1-2 in. Karts are expensive. $6000+ Karts must be transported and serviceable. Transport vehicle to pit to tack and back. Kart-Cart is the answer! Up – Down – All Around
Project Description Design and build a reliable device for Go-Kart racers that can raise/lower and transport the kart around any racing complex and attach to a standard trailer hitch receiver for safe & secure device transportation.
Keep in Mind Kart weighs in at ~ 200 lbs. Current stand requires two people. Convenient work height. Up – Down – Around. Rough terrain. Stability. Stow and go. Cost. Easy as 1 – 2 – 3. Reliable, reliable, reliable.
What’s on the market? Expensive ($600+) Bulky Flimsy Difficult to transport
Goals Ability to attach to a trailer hitch receiver I realize that this slide is similar to the” keep in mind” slide, but maybe we can go into more detail here on the specifics Must be able to travel over diverse terrain
