Mini Lesson # 9 Chapter 6 Pages 99 - 107 Do Now: In the previous chapter, Why is Curley so eager to go after Lennie?

“Go hide in the brush… till he come.” Lennie remembers to do just what George told him to do (in case he got in trouble). Lennie has a vision of aunt Clara, who reminds him of all the nice things George has always done for him. He also has a vision of a gigantic rabbit, that tells him he’s never going to get to pet them. Lennie’s conscience reasons with him about how the dream will never come true.

George is forced by Curley to go with the lynching mob… Lennie wants George to speak of their dream So Lennie can almost see their dream becoming a reality. George hears the others approaching. Lennie asks George if he is mad at him. George’s response is barely audible. George tells Lennie that he is not mad. That he would never be mad at him. George tells Lennie to look into the river George finds Lennie in the brush
