Online Admission Applications Permits students to conveniently fill out the application online, sending the completed application electronically to the designated college. For colleges, the objectives are to: Reduce costs (eliminate manual data entry) Improve accuracy of data Provide greater access to students Shorten notification time

School Counselor Training GEAR UP staff will train 300-400 school counselors and teachers to effectively use the OKcollegestart.org and establish student accounts. 20 training sessions in three waves: March 2007 July 2007 September 2007

Transcript Exchange Repository through which high schools and colleges send academic transcripts to one another in a secure, electronic manner. Trial activities will begin with six school districts with compatible school information systems. Coordinated with expertise from campuses.

“OKE3” Career Management Portal Purpose is to bridge employment, economic development and education – 3 “E’s” Developed by constituents of Governor’s Council for Workforce and Economic Development Elements include career assessments and interest inventories; workforce development & labor market information; integration with Oklahoma JobLink database.
