WETT has master service agreements with a multiple contractors to perform significant tasks: Substation construction Transmission construction Major maintenance Aerial inspections
Contractors: Pre-negotiated terms and conditions Technicians trained specifically in WETT operations and safety procedures Overseen by qualified WETT field personnel for safety and efficiency
Due to this strategic arrangement with contractors, WETT does not have crews or equipment available to other companies for storm restoration services associated with transmission facilities.
Possible WETT post-storm support: Initial response for safely securing storm damaged transmission facilities 1-2 employees for transmission switching Transmission restoration work (WETT could coordinate its contractors to assist another utility, if they are trained for their specific type of equipment.)
