Vs. 1 – “Come Unto Me” I came to Jesus as I was, weary and worn and sad “Just as I am” – a phrase often abused today, this is NOT an invitation to ignore your sinful condition, but a realization that you need Him! Vs. 1 – “Come Unto Me” I found in him a resting place He offers rest – refreshing, relief 2 Thessalonians 1:7- our ultimate rest (Hebrews 4:9, Revelation 14:13) Here we speak of peace – Philippians 4:6-7, John 14:27 “I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say”

Vs. 1 – “Come Unto Me” And He has made me glad Joy and rejoicing we seek Philippians 4:4, Romans 12:12 “I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say”

Vs. 2 – Living Waters Behold I freely give - Romans 6:23 The living waters, thirsty one, stoop down and drink and live John 4:10-14 – the Samaritan woman Revelation 21:6, 22:17 “I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say”

Vs. 2 – Living Waters I came to Jesus and I drank of that life giving stream John 7:37-38, Jesus said, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink… out of his heart will flow rivers of living water” He offered and we partake “I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say”

Vs. 2 – Living Waters My thirst was quenched, my soul revived Strengthened and renewed 2 Peter 1:3 And now I live in Him Colossians 2:13 “I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say”

Vs. 2 – Living Waters Do not forget the importance of water in our salvation Acts 22:16, 1 Peter 3:20-21 While water does not save us (it is faith), it is the catalyst that brings about our salvation – Acts 2:38, Romans 6:3-4 “I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say”

Vs. 3 – Light in this world I am this dark world’s light Jesus is the light of the world John 9:5, John 1:4-5 – while we live in great spiritual darkness, He is the light we need “I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say”

Vs. 3 – Light in this world Look unto Me, thy morn shall rise, and all thy day be bright Jesus our light, was the fulfillment of prophecy – Matthew 4:15-16 We need to look to Him – Hebrews 12:2 “I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say”

Vs. 3 – Light in this world I came to Jesus and I found, in Him my Star, my Sun He is the morning star – Revelation 22:16, 2 Peter 1:19 He is the Sun (and Son) – Revelation 21:23, 22:5 Malachi 4:2 “I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say”

Vs. 3 – Light in this world And in that light of life I’ll walk till traveling days are done We need to be continually walking in the light – 1 John 1:6-7 ALSO, we need to be the light of the world – Matthew 5:14-16, Philippians 2:15 “I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say”
