Writing a Lab The basics

Lab Title 1. Purpose/Problem 2. Materials 3. Procedure 4. Results 5. Conclusion

(Title)Bacteria, Bacteria Everywhere! Purpose: To determine the level of bacteria on general surfaces and compare various soaps Materials – see board Procedure 1. Prepare 2 petri dishes with agar Boil 100mL with 2 teaspoons of agar powder 2. Use q-tips to swipe areas 3. Smear bacteria onto agar plate in 4 different sections 4. Let plate incubate for 2 days 5. Observe results

Bacteria, Bacteria Everywhere Results Draw a picture of your plate (with divisions) Label each section Make a table with: Name of substances Observations Conclusion What are your thoughts on the results? what worked best? What was the worst? Comment on our use of anti-bacterial soaps in relation to super-pests.
