The New Middle East (1.) You and your team will be redrawing the boundaries of the Middle East. The new boundaries will create 13 countries be drawn based on 5 characteristics currently found in the Middle East: (a.) Natural Resources (map provided) (b.) Population Density (map provided) (c.) Physical Geography (map provided) (d.) 2 of your choice (2.) You must have a justification/explanation of EACH of the 5 characteristics. Things to consider: (a.) Cultural differences (b.) Accessibility of imports/exports (c.) History (d.) Resources and overpopulation (3.) The finished product (due end of period tomorrow) will be: (a.) 5 paragraph explanations/justifications (1 per characteristic) (b.)
