A Note From The Teacher… There are several students who are not getting their homework assignments turned in on time. Parents, please be sure to check agendas every night and make sure your child’s homework is completed, packed, and ready to return. Thanks! Reminder: A letter was sent home with directions on how to sign-up to receive emails every time your child takes an AR test. It will also allow you to view all of the books your child has taken AR tests on since they started school at North Mac. Happy Reading! November 15th: 2nd Quarter Progress Reports November 16: Marc Metro speaker grades 5-8 November 21st : Picture retakes November 22nd: Early dismissal at 1:30p for Thanksgiving break December 6th: Intermediate Winter Program December 19th: Class parties and end of Quarter 2 A Peek At What We Are Learning Reading/ Spelling (Webster) Reading Wonder.  All final Wonder projects are due by this Friday, November 17th. Projects that are one day late will receive half credit, and projects that are two or more days late will receive zero credit.  Spelling test Friday.  AR points are due Thursday, December 14th. Red group: 5 pts Yellow group: 6 pts Green group: 7pts Writing (McFarland) DLR and Turkey writing. Math (Rovey) ​Simplifying fractions, equivalent fractions, and mixed numbers to improper fractions and vice versa. Science/Social Studies Social Studies--  L#4:  The War Begins; open book/open note test Thursday. Study guide coming home Tuesday for extra credit. Science--Begin Ch. 4:  Ecosystems, Communities, and Biomes
