Myth of Europe Europe was so beautiful that it even had caught the attention of the one and only Zeus. He knew that she so often and with joy goes to the grasslands of the royal pack. With the intention of tricking his wife Héra, Zeus transformed into a beautiful white bull. Europe noticed his being. Overcoming her fears, she gave him handful of flowers. The bull layed down into the grass and offered Europe a place next him for her to sit on.

Myth of Europe Europe couldn‘t resist. Right after she had sit on him, he carried her to the sea. Zeus swam across the sea and on big island Creete were change in God. Her name was never forgotten, by her name the continent is called Europe.

What is the name of this coin? Why? The coin name is Euro, because it is a currency in Europe.

What is depicted on it? Why? The coin shows princess Europe with the god Zeus, because it is a Greek legend.

What country is it from? How did you notice it? It‘s from Greece. I noticed it from realizing that there are Greek words depicted on the coin.

Are you able to translate into your own language the two words written on the coins? Yes , I‘m able to translate them. The two words written on the coin are Greece and Europa.

Do you have the same currency in your country? Why ? No, we don‘t have the same currency in our country. Our currency is called the Czech crown.
