Trig Functions Extended the Circular Functions Objective: Students will recall the concepts of the unit circle and show that different sized circles yield the same angle measure.

Terms Initial side – where you start to measure angle Vertex – endpoint of ray Terminal Side – ending side of angle Positive Angle – counterclockwise direction Negative angle – clockwise direction of angle Conterminal Angle – same initial side and same terminal side
