Do Now Today you need: Half sheet that’s in the pickup basket Composition journal/notebook Glue stick or tape Pencil If you have all your supplies, go ahead and write your name and class period in or on your journal and glue the half sheet onto the second page.

Class Journal Your first page will be your Table of Contents Write Table of Contents at the top On the first line, write: Page 2: Measuring Length Turn to the second page, write page 2 at the bottom and make sure your half sheet is glued on

Measuring Length/Height Check your meter stick/ruler…does it start at zero? Make sure you’re measuring in a straight line, otherwise your measurement will be too high This is a class that we will be using a lot of tools in.
