Lyric poem By: Jesserin T The Feel of a Run Lyric poem By: Jesserin T

The sun shining in my eyes Wind blowing in my hair

My earphones Singing in my ears Gravel crunching like chips under my steps

I started off running really fast, I ran faster than the speed of light

I was enjoying it, until it all changed

I was trying to force my legs to move But, they wouldn't move

They were frozen They were sore

My legs were shaking My sight seemed blurry

I was cold I was freezing cold

It felt like I had ran for a thousand miles I was tired, really tired

Some people like running But, running is not for me
