Visitors’ Centre : feedback from families Friendly staff , bright environment which made the prison look less daunting. Much needed listening support. If this centre wasn’t here I wouldn’t bring my children Have had a lot of weight lifted off my shoulders since being with Spurgeons. They have helped me with so many issues and has helped me relax through my pregnancy.

Reflections from fathers following Time for You and your Child parenting course Helped me understand all aspects of how children rely on us to encourage them to grow and mature into young adults. Thank you – you gave me so much hope. By talking in a group you get a sense of relief, knowing you’re not the only one in this position, you also learn a lot about how to be a much better parent, when you get out, a better role model in yourself, which gives you that ignition that you want to be out there with your children and do better for them and yourself. It has helped me keep a great bond with my daughter whilst here and it is something I talk with her about and it makes her very happy
