The week of: April 16th-20th, 2018 Fabulous Fourth Grade Weekly Newsletter The week of: April 16th-20th, 2018 Math Writing In math this week, Ms. Shade’s precious petunias: Learned about shape attributes and compared different shapes. We also learned about time to the half hour and hour We love writing!!! This week, students in room 145 learned: How to add comparisons to our nonfiction books Adding size, color, shape and details to help readers visualize our writing How to include “how-to” stories Writing Introductions and Conclusions Reading Important Info Phonics: \AW\ and \AU\ sound: Please continue to reinforce these skills at home Continued learning about Adjectives Nonfiction Welcome Back!!
