Remembering Who We Are 1 Corinthians 12:12-27

Remembering Who We Are Human Being or Human Doing?

Remembering Who We Are Human Being or Human Doing?

Isaiah 40:6-8 “All people are like grass, and all their faithfulness is like the flowers of the field. The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the Lord blows on them.     Surely the people are grass. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”

Remembering Who We Are A Body of Many Parts 1 Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

Remembering Who We Are A Body of Many Parts

If we didn’t have ____, …Where would our ____be?

1 Corinthians 12:26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

Remembering Who We Are Designed to do Christ’s Work John 1:18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

Remembering Who We Are Designed to do Christ’s Work 1 John 4:9-10 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.  This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

1 John 4:11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 1 John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.

John 17:20-23 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one,  I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
