Entering the Classroom enter quietly and find your seat.

The First 5 minutes Sharpen your pencil Check absentee folder Turn in homework Complete bellwork

How do I ask/answer a question? Raise your hand and wait for the teacher to recognize you. Do not just blurt out a question/answer.

How and where do I turn in work? You will turn in homework, classwork to the basket on the counter located directly to left when you walkin the class Turn in homework as you enter class Classwork will be passed to the front and put into the basket

What happens when the bell rings for the end of class? You will remain in your seat until I dismiss you. The bell does not dismiss class, I do.

Where do I get my work if I’ve been absent? The absentee folders are located on the counter located directly to left when you walkin the class Please check this folder when you enter class the day you get back to school It is YOUR responsibility to check this folder if you are absent

What happens if my assignments are late? Please make sure your assignments are on time. 10% of the total points awarded will be deducted each day an assignment is late

If you need help... Raise your hand and wait to be recognized by the teacher.

When should I throw away my trash? Hold all trash until the end of class. on your way out the door, you may throw it in the garbage can. Do not leave any trash on your desk or on the floor.

What if I have to go to the bathroom? Students may not ask to go to the restroom during the first 10 minutes or last 10 minutes of class. Only one student to the bathroom at a time Each student will have 3 bathroom passes per nine weeks. You must sign in and out when you leave class. If you have used your 3 bathroom passes you will not be able to leave class

FOOD and Drink No eating is allowed in the classroom You may drink water in the classroom, no soda, kool-aide etc.

Attention Getter If I raise my hand in the front of the class, that is your clue to stop what you are doing and pay attention to what I have to say.
