Objective To introduce the powertrain system in general To understand how the system works

Powertrains A group of components used to transmit engine power to the driving wheels. varies the amount of torque. It includes : Transmission Drive Shaft Clutch Differential

How it works Transmission changes the ratio between engine RPM and driving wheel RPM Drive Shaft connects the transmission output shaft to the differential pinion shaft Clutch links/breaks the link between the engine and the wheels

Differential allows the drive axles to rotate at different speeds

Conclusion Powertrain system transmits the engine power to the wheels It mainly consists of : Transmission Drive Shaft Clutch Differential
