CPEA – Internal Assessment Comments from the External Moderators Clear evidence that pupils and teachers were involved in substantial planning and research. Project reports reflected good writing skills. Pupils were given the opportunity to actively engage in real reading in the book reports.

CPEA –Internal Assessment Final pieces in writing portfolios showed evidence of improvement in the areas of paragraphing, sequencing of ideas, word choice, mechanics. Many of the pupil-developed tests were suitable for use by teachers. Teachers’ work showed a level of commitment to improving the standard of teaching and assessment at the primary level.
