The Maidu Tribe

Geographical Location Northeast California Sunny in the  Summer Cold in the winters

Shelter Protected them from the environment Held up with log poles and covered with earth Large hole at the top they used as  a door

Food Used their land to find food in order to survive Hunted  deer,  squirrel, rab bits and ducks They gathered,  berries,  se eds  and  roots in  baskets

Culture They didn’t wear that much clothing They used deer skin for cloth They put  clam shell disks inside  their mouth
