Act IV Mark Antony, Octavius, and Lepidus form the triumvirate, the rulers of Rome. They meet to determine their enemies. They discuss changing Caesar’s will. Antony holds a low opinion of Lepidus. Antony and Octavius discuss how to defeat the armies of Brutus and Cassius.

Things are not going well for Brutus and Cassius. Meanwhile … Things are not going well for Brutus and Cassius. Brutus comments on Cassius cold attitude. Cassius and Brutus argue. Brutus accuses Cassius of corruption and greed. Portia has killed herself Brutus persuades Cassius to meet and fight at Philippi. Brutus is visited by Caesar’s ghost.

Act V The leaders of All forces meet on the battlefield. It is Cassius birthday. He fears it is his last. Brutus and Cassius say their final farewells in case the battle does not go well. Cassius retreats. Believing there is no hope, Cassius asks Pindarus to kill him. What Cassius thought was defeat, was a victory. However, all is not good for the conspirator. Brutus mourns the loss. The battles continue. Brutus sees defeat and has his servant hold his sword as Brutus runs upon it. Mark Antony refers to Brutus as “the noblest man of them all.”
