Jackson Ntw Soln: For Fab Station, l=103, m=40, s=3, r= 103/120=0.86 You have just taken over as plant manager for K-LOG manufacturing which makes playground equipment. There are four primary stations and parts may flow between stations but because of job shop requirements may enter a station at any particular point. In addition, there is a loss of approximately 10% at each station (round up or down to nearest whole). Past data indicates flow of parts to the various stations. . You are to calculate the arrival rate to each station and calculate performance metrics L and W for the fabrication station. Soln: For Fab Station, l=103, m=40, s=3, r= 103/120=0.86 L = 5.8 W= 5.8/103=.058
